C. New Business:• Meet Registrations and Updates: Boys are registered for Survivor, Excalibur Cup and Flip for
fight. JO Level are registered for Cornucopia, Christmas, Hugs, and flip for the fight. Xcel are
registered for Hugs and Flip for the fight.• Seasonal Monthly Calendar changes and updates were emailed. Dates of assessments were
changed and late fees added.
- Board is working on a Flex Plan for Fundraising. Flex plan explained. Flex plan fundraising committee volunteers needed. Jenney Perloff to chair.
- Allowing Training team to participate in fundraising- become a booster member and participate in new fundraisers using flex plan.
- If you have a fundraising idea, please fill out a form and submit. You will be placed on the next agenda to present your fundraising idea.
- September 20th Game night volunteers/every 3rd Saturday 5:00-9:00pm. Charisse Woodward volunteering Sept 20th.
- Popcorn fundraiser has 5 volunteers. Bulk sale in Fall and individual sale in Spring.
- Photo day fundraiser possibility for Spring.
- October wreath fundraiser- ordering packets.
- Scrip fundraiser- use for flex plan. Can make your own account once Boosters sets it up.
- Martins Cards fundraiser- use for flex plan
- Online Charity Fundraising- Google search or Amazon Smile.
- Gofundme.com- a way your family and friends can donate to your gymnast. money can be
deposited into your bank account.
- Team photos will be November 8th 9:00am at the gym, mark your calendar. All gymnasts need to be in team photo.

• Election of club officers will take place at our April meeting. Please notify Jen Groot if you are interested in a position or would like to nominate someone. Board officers represent the entire booster club and are required to give their time at club meetings and events as well as manage and perform their duties effectively.
• Competitive Meets coming up are the GMS Spring Invitational (level 3), Regional level 6
(Jonathan), State level 3, All Star Challenge (Excel) and State Excel.
• Mulch fundraiser, all orders should be turned in. Need a total # of volunteers for the delivery weekend March 22. Look for the genius sign up on your email.
• Gym Show is June 2nd, all competitive gymnasts and parents are required to attend. All parents will be asked to volunteer, sign up sheets will be posted at the gym. Please contact Jenney Perloff if you have special talents or skills you would like to offer as services.

With all the many great ideas for fundraisers, it is a group effort. So, to insure we have the “man-power”, please have a group of 5 club members to pursue ideas in fundraising. Feel free to present ideas at the monthly club meetings.
Mulch Fundraiser coming soon for Spring. Remember, this is a good opportunity to reduce the coach fees for everyone!

First installments of meet registration should be submitted in each gymnast’s account. Registration begins September 1st.
If you do not submit payment your gymnast will not get registered. We as a club cannot support any hardship when payment is not made on time, it would jeopardize our tax exempt status if all members are not contributing equally. Therefore in order for all members to benefit from our tax exempt organization we must all contribute equally with no benefits to one member. 1st payment for meet registration is due at this time $350 per gymnast.

- Team Store not up yet/ may end up being done by the gym and not a fundraiser.
- Christmas Party Dec. 21st at 5pm- Bring a wrapped $5 gift to play Thieves Christmas game. Signup genius will be sent out for food and drinks. This is also on game night. Charisse volunteered for game night.

1. Oil Change discount card are due the 15th of July
2. Frenchies’/ 5 Star Auto will not be taking place
b. End of Year Party- thanks to all who came and those that were not able, we missed your presents
c. Gym Camp- Form and deposit are due ASAP- Everyone will get one week discount for camp, please see Tammy if you have questions.

a. Finances
1. Non- profit guidelines – refunds will no longer be given as it violates the guidelines for nonprofit booster organizations and IRS tax deductions
3. Refunds given – will not be given, so if you have a balance at the end of the gymnastics season then it will roll to the next season. If you leave all moneys are forfeit by the family and moved to the general fund
4. General fund- $600.00 is the current balance
5. Coach fees- the number of gymnasts or specific team- Discussion was had about whether to total the estimated coaches cost and dividing it by the total gymnastics (all members of boost); or take total estimated coaches and divide by each teams gymnasts (males, Excel, or Level)
6. Savings Account- $1008.00 was voted and approved by a vote of 7 to be moved to the checking account will be used for competitive gymnasts USA Gymnastics membership for the 2013- 14 year
b. Need for a coordinator of fund raisers- Jenney Perloft has agreed to take on the role
i. This is a role that is not a part of the board however, is needed in order for a timely schedule to be developed, and fund raising opportunities to be handled
ii. This individual will have the ability to add to the monthly meeting agenda and will also be invited to board meetings but is not required to attend

o Carrie shared information about the changes to Sheetz Booklets- the profit is $2.00 per booklet which is a change from the previous year
o Kid’s Night once a month for 4 hours- profit is 1/3 to boost after covering all costs

o Car Wash on July 27th, 2013 at 307 South Street Front Royal, VA

the season- It will be in August or September. Photos will

that was added was the importance of kids staying for the entire gym show and
sitting with their class the entire time in order to show respect for all the
gymnasts.
